Sustainability is an integral part of our vision and values. We drive sustainability not only through our products and services but also through our operations, community involvement and by fostering strong relationships that help policymakers and key decision makers in business and academia promote the efficient use of resources to benefit all people and the world.

Consequently, Johnson Controls recently entered into a yearlong partnership with the World Green Building Council as its first partner in the newly formed Americas Regional Network. The WorldGBC's Americas Regional Network represents a community of 19 national Green Building Councils (GBCs) and thousands of member companies across North, Central and South America.

In 2017, the Americas Regional Network will focus on supporting cities in the development of building efficiency policies in partnership with the World Resources Institute, exchanging green schools best practice with the Inter-American Development Bank and on strengthening the overall business case for building green.
