CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Aug 12, 2014) - Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (NYSE: JLL) announced today that two key global roles within the firm will be filled by JLL veterans. Parikshat Suri has been appointed Global Internal Audit Director, moving from the role of Chief Financial Officer for JLL India to succeed James C. "Corey" Lewis, who has been named Global Account Lead for JLL's HSBC team.

Parikshat Suri

Consistent with the firm's focus on high standards of governance, Suri will manage the firm's internal audit function, develop and execute risk-based audit plans and processes, and oversee the firm's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program. The appointment is effective September 1 and Suri will be based in the firm's headquarters office in Chicago.

As CFO for India since 2008, Suri made significant contributions to the firm's financial operations, corporate governance and financial discipline in that country. He joined JLL after its acquisition of the India operations of Trammell Crow Meghraj in 2007 and helped integrate it into the India operations. He will report directly to David B. Rickard, Chairman of the Audit Committee of JLL's Board of Directors, and internally to Christie B. Kelly, JLL's Chief Financial Officer.

"JLL is recognized consistently for its commitment to transparency, ethics and integrity by esteemed institutions such as the Ethisphere Institute. The Global Internal Audit Director plays a key role in maintaining the high standards of governance that help the firm maintain this level of achievement," said Rickard. "Corey has done an excellent job and has established a solid foundation for Parikshat to lead the firm's internal audit group."

Suri, who has more than 20 years of finance and business accounting experience, held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Citi Technology Services Ltd., a subsidiary of Citigroup, before joining JLL. He previously worked with Motorola both in India and Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Accountant, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Punjab University in India.

Corey Lewis

As Global Account Lead for JLL's 1,800-person HSBC team, Lewis will be responsible for managing the comprehensive services that JLL provides to HSBC in the largest financial services real estate outsourcing assignment globally. Those services include transactions and contracts, workplace strategy and space data management, and communications and information systems for approximately 47 million square feet of the real estate portfolio currently under JLL facilities management across the Americas, Asia, Europe and MENA. Lewis will be based in London and will report to Bill Thummel, Global Client Relationship Manager for the HSBC account.

Since joining JLL in 1998, Lewis held various positions in the Americas region, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Capital Markets, Chief Financial Officer for Corporate Solutions, and Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Finance for Tenant Representation. As Global Internal Audit Director since 2009, he contributed superior levels of commitment, professionalism and expertise to governance, risk management, compliance and internal controls. Prior to joining JLL, Lewis held accounting and finance positions at Arthur Andersen and McDonald's. He earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hampton University.
