Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) and Ministry of Religious Endowments / Hajj fund have signed the agreement of issuance Hajj Sukuk for citizens who are interested in participating in the fund through Jordan Islamic Bank.

The agreement has been signed by Mr. Musa Shihadeh, Vice Chairman , General Manager of JIB and Dr Weal Arabyat, director of Hajj fund at  Hajj fund 's head office  on Tuesday, 22 , January, 2013.

On this occasion Mr. Musa Shihadeh said we welcome this mutual cooperation with Ministry of religious endowments in the pioneering of Hajj Sukuk issuance which is considered a pioneer idea the Ministry offers through Jordan Islamic Bank to citizens as a tool for saving and investment in order to give the opportunity  to people who are interested in performing Hajj duty by subscribing in Hajj fund to achieve their desire in performing this duty in addition to their contribution in raising national economy by saving and investing in these Sukuks in accordance with sharia principles.

We welcome all citizens who are interested in subscribing in Hajj Sukuk by underwriting through all JIB's branches and offices reaching 79 in all kingdom's areas.

It is worth mentioning that saving categories are 10 JD or its doubles and by Sukuk categories ( 10 JD , 50 JD, 100 JD, 500 JD, 1000 JD ). We hope that this pioneer experience would  benefit the country and all citizens.
