Jérôme Benathan will join Julius Baer on 1 November 2015 as new Head Fixed Income Mandates & Funds, thereby further strengthening the Bank's Portfolio Management team. With his long-standing experience in the Swiss financial industry and his extensive knowhow in the credit and fixed income business, he is the ideal person to assume the lead of the Fixed Income teams and further develop the offering and services in this area.

Zurich, 30 September 2015 - Jérôme Benathan will join Julius Baer on 1 November 2015 as Head Fixed Income Mandates & Funds and will report to the Head Global Portfolio Management, Daniel Kerbach. Jérôme Benathan looks back on more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector and is well connected in the industry. The last eight years he was Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Credit at Swisscanto Asset Management. Prior to this, he worked as Senior High Yield Credit Analyst at Man Group in the Leveraged Finance department. From 1994 until 2005, he held various positions at UBS, the last seven years as Head Credit Research within the Investment Banking division.
