Kemira : corporate responsibility performance receives EcoVadis "Gold" recognition

Kemira has been rewarded with a Gold recognition level for the company's corporate responsibility performance by EcoVadis, a collaborative platform providing sustainability ratings and performance improvement tools for global supply chains.

With a score of 72/100 points, Kemira is in the top 2% of suppliers assessed by Ecovadis - in all categories and within chemical sector suppliers. In 2014, Kemira achieved Silver level with 58/100 points.

"Kemira strives to become the first choice as a responsible and sustainable supplier to our customers. This recognition is an important indication that we are heading in the right direction," says Tomas Biström, Director, Corporate Responsibility. "Our corporate responsibility performance is important to our customers. This includes our own operations and products as well as the performance throughout the value chain. We use EcoVadis to evaluate our suppliers, cooperating actively with them to enable a more sustainable supply chain."
