Key Technology : Appoints Steve Johnson as Senior Director Latin America and Asia Sales

June 25, 2014 - Key Technology announces the appointment of Steve Johnson to the position of Senior Director Latin America and Asia Sales. Johnson is responsible for managing Key's sales activities in the Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Australia/New Zealand regions to bring the company's digital sorters, conveyors, and process automation systems to food processors and other manufacturers.

Many of our new sorters like Taurys™ and Cayman® BioPrint® are ideal for food processors in these areas," said Steve Pellegrino, Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Johnson has been with Key for nine years. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Marketing and will retain responsibility for leading the company's worldwide marketing activities. While he continues in that capacity, a sizable portion of those responsibilities have been shifted to others at Key, enabling Johnson to devote significant energy toward managing the direct sales teams and sales representatives in Latin America and Asia. Johnson brings 25 years of leadership experience to his position. Prior to joining Key, he was Vice President and General Manager for Gordon Composites. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Weber State University.
