Brussels, Belgium - 28 January 2015 - Today, Keyware (EURONEXT Brussels: KEYW) is commenting on the remarkable increase in the number of city and municipal services who joined Keyware in 2015 for the handling of their payment transactions.

More and more city and municipal services are switching over to Keyware to process their electronic payment transactions. And it's not just the traditional municipal services at city or town halls, but also museums, social services, police, sports infrastructure, etc.

Keyware has been an established partner for many cities and municipalities for over 5 years, and it's in part thanks to what it learned from that experience that it can now offer a suitable payment solution for the different services. For services who already have payment terminals, this specialized approach is bringing about savings varying from 20 to even 50%. In part, this is due to payment terminals and subscriptions being better geared towards their actual needs, but the installation of more powerful terminals and adapted services are also to thank.

For those who don't yet have payment terminals, Keyware increases efficiency by over 20%. These improvements are achieved by faster payment handling and collection, fewer errors involving small change, and better and faster payment registration. In addition, installing payment terminals boosts general security and takes away the risk of counterfeit cash.

The new 2015 customers include Tournai, Enghien, Ath, Knokke, Koksijde, Oostduinkerke, Fléron, Dilbeek, Scherpenheuvel, Veurne. Farciennes, Wezembeek-Oppem etc.
