During the Ordinary General Meeting of 11 May 2016, the Board of Directors of Kinepolis Group NV will propose to appoint Ms. Adrienne Axler as an independent director.
Ms. Axler has built a successful career in the Sodexo Group, where she is currently CEO of the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In the past, Ms. Axler has been General Manager Benefits & Rewards (voucher business) for Western and Southern Europe, and Vice President Marketing Europe for the On-Site Business. Her international experience in the service industry, passion for service quality and proven people management skills will be a source of added value on the Board of Directors of Kinepolis Group.
Kinepolis Group was formed in 1997 as a result of the merger of two family cinema groups and was listed on the stock exchange in 1998. Kinepolis offers an innovative cinema concept which serves as a pioneering model within the industry. Kinepolis has a chain of 46 cinemas spread across Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Poland.
