Shenzhen- May 8, 2012-A delegation of fourteen from Singapore Governments headed by Dr. Yaacob Bin Ibrahim, Minister of Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) visited Kingdee Software Park on the morning of May 8, 2012. In the delegation also included Mr. Chan Yeng Kit, Permanent Secretary of MICA, Mr. Tay Ronnie, Chief Executive of Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), Mr. Loh Tuck Wai, Consul-General of Singapore Consulate-General in Guangzhou and officials from Singapore Consulate-General in Guangzhou and Shanghai.

Warmest welcome from Kingdee management

Mr. Robert Xu, Chairman of the Board of Kingdee Software International Group Co., Ltd (Kingdee) expressed the warmest welcome. Mr. Dengsheng Hao, Vice President and GM of Marketing Department of Kingdee Group , Ms. Karen Ji, Assistant President and GM of International Business Unit (IBU), Mr. Tim Wang, General Manager of Internet Products and Services Division, and management from IBU Kingdee attended the reception.

In Kingdee Exhibition Hall, Mr. Dengsheng Hao introduced Kingdee history, business structure, and company culture, especially Kingdee's ambition to create a Cloud Management World in the next five years. In Kingdee Experience Center, Mr. Robert Xu demonstrated how Kingdee's Cloud applications work in iPhone, including KD Weibo, KD Work Flow, Kuaidi100, Personal Accounting etc. which greatly interested and impressed all the guests.

Mr. Robert Xu expressed his gratefulness for the governments' great support to Kingdee's development in Singapore. He said that Kingdee will be continuously expanding its business in Asia Pacific region and internationally through Singapore strategic position as an economic and cultural hub in Asia Pacific area. Five years ago Kingdee established its first overseas R&D center in Singapore.

In the meeting

Robert also claimed that Kingdee was shifting its focus more on user experience and product design, anticipating the perfect fusion of art and design in its products. The strategy excitingly accord with MICA's mission to develop Singapore as a Global City for information, communications and the arts. Both parties expressed cooperation potential in the art and creative area.

Dr. Yaacob Bin Ibrahim said that Singapore governments highly recognized Kingdee's business achievements and contribution to foster local economy and employment opportunities in local market. The governments are looking closely at the collaboration between Kingdee and local businesses. He hopes to take this visit opportunity to further extend understanding and cooperation between the both parties.
