Before you buy something online, there's always the question of how will it look in person? This problem could be a thing of the past thanks to the latest development from Houzz. Houzz is a website and online community for all things architecture, home improvement, interior design and decorating. They have now launched an augmented reality app that lets you preview furniture picks in your home before you buy them. Using your smartphone or tablet, you can see exactly how any couch, sink or kitchen worktop would look in the very space you're in. To use the feature, tap the 'View in My Room 3D' button; hold the camera up to show the room and the product will appear in 3D on the screen.
