Kingspan : Dazzling at the Architecture Expo, Dublin

How cool is this product from Kingspan? A perforated façade with this iconic image was created by advanced computer generated imaging technology with each picture made up of thousands of holes punched into the cassettes. With the option of backlighting your design and clever use of colour truly fantastic effects can be achieved - the only limit is your imagination.

Dri-design is a truly revolutionary system, each cassette fixes directly on to the QuadCore Karrier Panel, interlinking with each other without the need for complicated rail systems. This makes patterns, such as stack bond or stretcher bond, easy to install. Cassettes can be increased in depth to add an extra dimension to the design, they can even have just one edge increased to give a tapered design, with no adverse effect on the installation.
Visitors at Architecture Expo this weekend are really excited by the breadth of options they now have at their disposal thanks to Dri-Design. We asked people to guess 'how many dots' were used in total, so far guesses have ranged from 20,000 to 4 million. Although several people have taken the challenge very seriously and have spent time counting.
