Klépierre's (Paris:LI) inclusion in DJSI World and Europe indices confirmed

For the 5th year in a row, SAM Research (Sustainable Asset Management Research) confirmed the inclusion of Klépierre in both of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, World and Europe, which include the best corporations as measured by their performances in sustainable development.

As a reminder, Klépierre is the only European real estate company that is included in the following 7 indices, attesting to its long-standing commitment to environmental, social and governmental issues: FTSE4Good Index, ASPI Eurozone, Ethibel Excellence Index, Ethibel Pioneer Index, Kempen/SNS European SRI Universe and both DJSI indices.

Klépierre awarded the GRESB "Green Stars" label

In the GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) survey, Klépierre ranked 7th among listed European real estate companies, with a global score of 60% (69% for Management and policy and 56% for Implementation and measurement). Steen & Strøm (Klépierre's 56.1% held Scandinavian subsidiary) obtained a global score of 61%. Both companies enter the "Green Stars" top category, which includes 65 companies among the 340 that were evaluated around the world.

The Green Star label is awarded to corporations that have an integrated organizational approach to the measurement and management of key performance indicators (KPI), as well as implementation of resource use measuring systems and innovative systems that seek to move beyond measuring only energy efficiency (productivity, tenant practices, etc.).

GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to assess the social and environmental performances of companies in the real estate sector. Founded in 2009, it brings together around fifteen of the largest pension fund managers, the principal organizations in the real estate sector (including EPRA, the European Public Real Estate Association), and the ECCE (European Centre for Corporate Engagement - an international research organization within the University of Maastricht).

Silver Award for Klépierre for the quality of its financial disclosures

In addition, Klépierre also received another Silver Award in connection with the EPRA Annual Report Survey 2010/11. The award was announced at the annual EPRA conference, which was held on September 1, and 2, 2011, in London.

Among the 83 European real estate companies whose annual reports were analyzed by Deloitte as part of this survey, Klépierre was ranked on top for France.

This award is given to companies with the best reporting practices as defined by EPRA (Best Practice Recommendations), developed to encourage real estate companies to communicate consistently and to work toward greater transparency with regard to investors and the financial community at large.
