CHANGE OF POST AT KOÇ HOLDING

Turgay Durak is handign over his post as Koç Holding CEO. He has held the position since 2010, and has been making great contributions to Koç Group while serving in various positions for nearly 40 years at both Ford Otosan and Koç Holding. According to the announcement, Koç Holding Durable Goods Group President and Arçelik A.Ş. CEO Levent Çakıroğlu was appointed as Deputy CEO of Koç Holding on February 17,
2015, and he will take over the CEO post following the General Assembly on March
31.
As part of the hand over, Arçelik A.Ş. Assistant General Manager of Finance and Accounting Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğlu has taken over as Koç Holding Durable Goods Group President, and Arçelik A.Ş. Assistant General Manager - Sales (Europe, America, Asia, Pacific) Hakan Bulgurlu has been appointed as Arçelik A.Ş. CEO.
In his statement regarding the changes, Koç Holding Chairman Mustafa V. Koç thanked Turgay Durak for his long years of contribution and leadership at Koç Group, and wished Levent Çakıroğlu, Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğlu and Hakan Bulgurlu success in their new positions.
Mustafa V. Koç emphasized Tugay Durak's devotion and commitment to Koç Group during his nearly 40-year tenure: "Our Group has accomplished great achivements under the leadership of Turgay Durak. While serving as Ford Otosan CEO, Durak took our company to the leading position of the total automotive market, having a tremendous impact on the growth of our country's automotive industry along the way. Throughout his tenure as CEO, he placed great importance on R&D for the sake of our companies' competitiveness and the future of our country, while taking giant leaps in our globalization journey. Over the past three years, our Group went through the biggest investment period in its history, with nearly 20 billion Turkish lira of investments in the last three years made under his guidance. Turgay Durak has risen to the occasion and taken the company to further success. I thank him for this valuable services to our Group and wish him continued success, health and
happiness," said Mustafa V. Koç.

Koç went on to mention that Levent Çakıroğlu has also served in crucial positions at Koç Group for over 16 years: "While serving as Durable Goods Group President and Arçelik A.Ş. CEO, Levent Çakıroğlu carried out work that improved our competitiveness in the international arena, and strengthened our Group's global vision. In addition to Arçelik's consistent success in the domestic market, he triumphantly led advancements in our global journey with international brands as well as the acquisition of Defy in South Africa and investments in the Far East. During Levent Çakıroğlu's tenure, Beko became the white goods brand with the largest increase in market share in Europe and achieved great success in some of the biggest global markets. I wish him success in his post as CEO. I am confident that Arçelik A.Ş. and our Group will continue to flourish in the durable goods market with the contributions of Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğlu and Hakan Bulgurlu in their new posts."

About Turgay Durak:

After graduating from Robert College, Turgay Durak received his MSc in Mechanical engineering from Northwestern University.
He began his professional career in 1976 at Ford Otosan as Product Development and Design Engineer. After serving as Project Manager, Project Coordination Chief and Project Coordination Department Manager at the İnönü plant, Turgay Durak moved on to become Deputy CEO of Marketing and then Purchasing, respectively. He served as Deputy CEO of Ford Otosan in 2000, and moved on to serve as CEO from 2002-
2007. He then served as President of the Automotive Group at Koç Holding from
2007-2009. Turgay Durak took Ford Otosan to the leading position of the total automotive market while serving as Ford Otosan CEO, having a tremendous impact on the growth of our country's automotive industry along the way. Durak managed a long and successful journey that included turning Ford Otosan Kocaeli Plant into a light commercial vehicle manufacturing base, the numerous manufacturing achievements of the Eskişehir İnönü Plant, and the transformation of Ford Otosan into one of Ford's manufacturing bases in Europe. He was appointed as the Deputy CEO and then the CEO of Koç Holding in 2009 and 2010, respectively. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Automotive Manufacturers Association from 2004-2010.

About Levent Çakıroğlu:

Levent Çakıroğlu received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Ankara
University's School of Political Science and his Master's degree from Illinois
University. He began his career at the Ministry of Finance as a Junior Accountant in

1988 and served as Accountant from 1991-1997. After working as a part-time Lecturer at Bilkent University from 1997-1998, he was appointed as Vice President of the Financial Crimes Investigation Board at the Ministry of Finance. He joined Koç Holding as Finance Group Coordinator in 1998. He served as CEO of Koçtaş from
2002-2007 and of Migros from 2007-2008. He was appointed as the CEO of Arçelik in
2008. Levent Çakıroğlu has been serving as the CEO of Arçelik as well as Koç Holding
Durable Goods Group President since 2010.
