In 2017 Komercijalna banka continued with positive trends in its business and recorded at the end of the year a profit before tax of seven billion and 187 million dinars i.e. about 61 million euros.

Realized profit is a result of improved quality of loan portfolio, resolved issue of bad loans from the past, in accordance with a new regulatory framework, increase in operating profitability in every-day business, despite the trend of decreasing interest in the market, cost-cutting measures and improvement of efficiency through comprehensive reshaping of the branch network, centralization of the support function and introduction of new digital services.

It is stated in the business plan that such positive business trends will continue this year as well.

In terms of equity, Komercijalna banka is still among market leaders. Regarding the stability of business, the Bank is currently characterised by above average liquidity and capitalisation. This is supported also by the capital adequacy ratio that stands at 27.9%, which is significantly above the limit set by the National Bank of Serbia.

Also, Komercijalna banka has been a long-standing market leader in the Serbian financial market in terms of foreign currency savings and that position has been confirmed again. As of 31st Decemebr 2017 the Bank had more than 1.6 billion euros of savings, which clearly attests to the trust that the people have in Komercijalna banka.

In terms of balance-sheet assets, according to the latest available data from NBS, Komercijalna banka accounts for approx. 11% of the local banking market.
