Prague, 30 October 2014 - Komerční banka has prepared changes to its price list, effective as of 1 January 2015. The latest changes are based on the philosophy that Komerční banka pursues on a long-term basis: the bank support the clients who use the KB Group's services actively, and supports the use of modern forms of communication.

Komerční banka's new price list will no longer contain seven charges about which clients have been complaining, for example, the charge for reserving funds for authorised overdraft on individuals' current accounts, the charge for failure to draw down on funds reserved at a branch, the charges for setting up or changing the authorisation for Expresní linka KB, and the charge for requests for archived account statements submitted via electronic banking.

"In the new price list we have also decided to cancel the charge for currency conversion when clients withdraw/deposit amounts in foreign currency from/in accounts denominated Czech crowns; this means that when you travel abroad you can conveniently withdraw, say, euros from your CZK account completely free of charge. We offered this benefit to clients this past summer during the tourist season, and thanks to clients' positive response, we have decided to reflect it in our price list on a permanent basis,"  said Mojmír Prokop, Distribution Channels and Customer Intelligence manager at KB.

Komerční banka has optimised the relevant process and therefore is able to cut the charge for hardcopy account statements sent to clients in foreign countries (from CZK 75 to 69).

"The new price list includes a slight increase by CZK 5 in the charge for account statements sent by post, reflecting the costs of this service, which have been growing for the past few years,"  added Mojmír Prokop.

By the latest changes in its charges, Komerční banka follows up on the good news from last year's autumn when the unique MojeOdměny [MyRewards] scheme was significantly simplified and its benefits for clients were enhanced. This enhancement met with an extremely good response on the part of the clients, and through the latest changes Komerční banka therefore wants to confirm, in particular, the stability of the trend that it has set in its pricing policy.
