Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting at Europe's premier game show, gamescom 2014*1, to be held in Cologne, Germany from Wednesday, August 13. The carefully selected upcoming titles showcased at the event will include "METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN" (below, "MGSV:TPP") and "PES 2015 - Pro Evolution Soccer" (below, "PES2015") the latest titles in the METAL GEAR action game series and Winning Eleven soccer game series (overseas name: Pro Evolution Soccer), respectively. New details on these two long-awaited titles will be revealed at gamescom 2014.

"MGSV: TPP" is a title on which METAL GEAR series creator Hideo Kojima is engaged in direction, writing, game design, and production. The game revolves around stealth action gameplay with an unparalleled degree of freedom, as players must develop their own tactics to accomplish their objectives, freely infiltrating and escaping enemy territory in a vast world with realistic passage of time, dynamic weather, and photorealistic graphics bursting with detail at every turn. All this adds up to a truly thrilling, immersive experience.

"PES2015" has been built using FOX ENGINE*2, bringing vast improvements to the series' visuals, with everything from players' expressions and the textures of their uniforms to the supporters and stadiums being brought to life as never before. Additionally, gameplay responsiveness has been given a significant brush-up, so controlling players will feel crisper and more precise than ever. All this combines to provide unprecedented immersion, as players from famous clubs around the world are presented in graphics almost indistinguishable from live footage, creating the truly tense, exciting atmosphere that gives soccer its universal appeal.
