Munich/Hellerup, 20.06.2014 - KPS Consulting recently opened its new Danish branch in Hellerup near Copenhagen. With this further step towards Scandinavia, the management consultancy specialized in SAP solutions plans to continue expanding into further European locations.

As announced in its 2012/2013 annual report, European expansion is a key focus of KPS' corporate strategy.1KPS' goal is to grow the market leadership for business transformation and process optimization in Germany and the rest of Europe.

With the new KPS branch in Denmark, KPS is one step closer to winning more international projects on the Scandinavian market like the Dansk Supermarked transformation. The successful consolidation of the Danish retail group's IT structure was a key factor in the decision to open the first Scandinavian branch in Copenhagen. In this project, Dansk Supermarked used the KPS Rapid Transformation®method to integrate 1,400 outlets and 18 warehouses in four countries in SAP Retail. The continued collaboration with Dansk Supermarked, along with newly acquired projects in Scandinavia, prompted KPS to open the office at the end of April 2014, further bolstering its presence in Denmark.

Kim Øgaard Pedersen will head up the operations in Scandinavia; additional offices are set to open in Scandinavia before the end of this year.
