Belo Horizonte, February 26, 2014 - Kroton Educacional S.A. (BM&FBovespa: KROT3; OTCQX: KROTY) ("Kroton" or the "Company") announces to shareholders, investors and the general market the results of Bid Notice 1 dated January 29, 2014, related to the National Program to Promote Access to Vocational Education and Jobs ("Pronatec") that were disclosed by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
In all, Kroton received authorization to fill 22,992 seats, of which 13,464 are in morning classes, 6,760 in afternoon classes and 2,768 in night classes, which will be offered through 41 different academic programs at 30 Educational Institutions. Note that these openings are for the scholarship category (Bolsa Formação), in which scholarships are fully subsidized by the federal government. Classes for the seats announced here will start already in the first semester of 2014.
Considering that Kroton has offered Pronatec since August 2013, the entire operational process has matured considerably at the Company, which helps ensure adequate management of the program and to leverage its potential over the coming years.
