2015 ISH will see KSB, the Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer, present its novel, fully automatic lifting unit for condensate from heating, air-conditioning and cooling systems.

Such units are a must, especially for modern condensing boilers installed below the flood level.

The new Kondensat-Lift pumps up to 340 l/h of fluid at heads of up to 4.50 m. It is suitable for fluid temperatures up to 50 °C. An integrated swing check valve prevents drainage of the discharge line and provides high operating reliability. The pH value of the condensate should no exceed 2.8.

The unit comprises a collecting tank made of impact-resistant ABS plastic, which can be mounted on either the floor or the wall. Designed with space in mind, the unit has a very small footprint. Its integrated float switch takes care of automatic level control. ABS plastic is also used for the motor housing and impeller; the shaft is made of stainless steel.

The 230 V single-phase AC motor with thermal overload protection is enclosed to IP 44. The customer receives a unit that is ready to be plugged in. It comes with a 1.8 m power cable and shockproof plug (CEE-7/7), so there is no need to call on a technical expert for the electrical installation.
