Kuehne und Nagel : + Nagel supports Assa Abloy in reducing time to market in the UK

London / UK, July 05, 2016 - Kuehne + Nagel, one of the world's leading logistics providers, and Assa Abloy, the largest global supplier of intelligent lock and security solutions, have signed a new long-term contract for UK warehousing and distribution services.

Under the exclusive seven year contract Kuehne + Nagel operates the Assa Abloy Wolverhampton National Distribution Centre (NDC) and assumes management of all UK related transports between the NDC and the UK manufacturing facility at Willenhall and Assa Abloy customers. Kuehne + Nagel signs responsible for the provision of warehousing and distribution services including collection of finished goods from manufacturing sites, receipt of goods, pick, pack & dispatch operations, delivery to retail outlets and end users. Value Added services include re-packing & customer-specific product configurations.
