KUKA employees will be offering children an unforgettable experience on three afternoons with the small, mobile robot KUKA youBot. Following a child-friendly, interactive presentation, providing insights into the world of robotics, the children themselves will be able to get to grips with the controller and control the KUKA youBot. The 90-minute event is suitable for children aged six to twelve.
It is being held on Monday, 24 November 2014, at 3.30 p.m., Wednesday, 26 November 2014, at 3.30 p.m. and Friday, 28 November 2014, at 3.00 p.m. at the KUKA plant at Zugspitzstrasse 140, D-86165 Augsburg. Parents will have the opportunity to wait for their children over coffee and cake in the company canteen. Evening Event for Everyone, Part IV: "The new robot generation - Versatile assembly systems with human-robot collaboration"

On Tuesday, 25 November 2014, at 7.00 p.m., KUKA is inviting interested adults to a presentation at KUKA College, Hery Park 3000, Gersthofen. The speaker, Henning Borkeloh (Head of Advanced Technology Solutions at KUKA), will be providing insights into current developments and future trends in robotics. In his fascinating expert lecture, he will be explaining how the role of robots is changing and how KUKA is tapping new fields of application with the new KUKA LBR iiwa robot generation. The focus here will be on applications in the field of human-robot collaboration. A demonstration is also planned.
