Al-Mukhaizeem: Structuring Flexible Model to Smooth Innovation, Motivate Employees

Kuwait Finance House Group- CEO Mazin Saad Al-Nahedh stressed the importance of spurring employees to embrace change and unleash innovation and creativity. This contributes in achieving comprehensive development in the bank to encompass products, services, activities and concepts.

Speaking at the 2016 KFH's Got Talent Award Ceremony that has been organized for the first time on Group level, he added that innovation and creativity are the change incubator at KFH Group, indicating that one of the success fundamentals for employees is to be thoroughly convinced of their work and tasks, thus will have the potential to innovate and come up with new ideas that add value to the business and workflow.

Gurkan Saman from KFH-Turkey won the first prize worth $20,000 after fierce competition among hundreds of employees on the Group level in Kuwait, Turkey, Malaysia and Bahrain.

CEO continued: the employees submitted a plethora of innovative ideas at different fields and business areas. The competition witnessed huge participation and participants underwent special evaluation from a specialized panel of arbitrators.

Al-Nahedh urged employees to continue their innovation efforts for the sake of achieving outstanding performance in a suitable work environment.

Meanwhile, Group Chief Strategy Officer at KFH, Eng. Fahad Khaled Al-Mukhaizeem said that KFH-Group 2016 Innovation Award is the first of its kind at the level of Islamic banks. It is a sustainable administrative effort that serves in creating awareness on the importance of research and innovation, in addition to improving the array of services and products of the bank. This bolsters KFH brand and image, better serves customers, and increases profitability.

Al-Mukhaizeem added that a number of integrated procedures has been taken to optimally organize the process of the innovation competition. KFH structured flexible model to smooth innovation and motivate employees. The proposals undergo a set of specific evaluation criteria where the distinguished proposals are evaluated by different business areas on the agenda of the innovation council at the bank. Then, the top ten are selected for the final level, where 3 of them are selected to win the prizes.
