KFH Honours Employees for Volunteerism in Ramadan

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has recognized 24 employees for their volunteerism and outstanding contributions to their community in the holy month of Ramadan. This recognition contributes in reinforcing the concerted effort of employees to further serve the community and allow the bank to optimally achieve the corporate social responsibility.

KFH CEO, Mazin Al-Nahedh paid tribute to volunteer's efforts at an award ceremony held at KFH Headquarters. He said that volunteer's participation in Ramadan activities nourishes a team's spirit and harnesses a collaborative spirit among employees, thereby illustrates bank's commitment in giving back to the community whilst fulfilling the social responsibility. He added that KFH mission is based on the efficient contributions in social and economic development in an effort to achieve the comprehensive development in the country.

The volunteers presented a documentary film displaying their participation in all KFH activities in Ramadan which included visiting hospitals and nursing homes, celebrating confectionary (gergean) at Kuwait society for guardians of the disabled and at Kuwaiti association for Down syndrome, distributing ice cream to worshippers at mosques, distributing breakfast meals to fasters in addition to many other social activities.

It's worth noting that KFH's initiatives reflect its strong belief that social responsibility is the vital investment that strengthens bank's belonging to the society.
