Kverneland AS is a Norway-based company engaged in the development, production and distribution of agricultural machinery and services. The Company operates within three business segments: Arable, Grass and Crop Care. The Company's brands include Kverneland, offering soil equipment, seeding and spreading equipment, and feeding equipment, and Vicon, a specialist within forage harvesting, bale equipment and spreading equipment. During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2010, the Company entered an alliance with Gallignani S.p.a., and became a supplier of AGCO's Massey Ferguson and Fendt round balers to some of AGCO dealers in Europe. Kverneland AS operates globally through own sales companies in 20 countries and exports to another 60 countries. Its production units are located in Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Italy and Russia. On May 8, 2012, the Company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kubota Corporation.
