Arnaud Lagardère would like to thank all of EADS'
directors, who have appointed him Chairman of EADS' Board
of Directors following today's shareholders'
meeting.
He wishes Tom Enders and Fabrice Brégier every success for the
future in their roles as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
of EADS and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Airbus
respectively.
Arnaud Lagardère would also like to offer his sincere thanks to
Bodo Uebber, Louis Gallois and their teams for their dedication
and hard work, which have helped EADS to become the world's
leading aerospace company.
The Lagardère group was one of the main driving forces behind
EADS' creation, and has always supported EADS'
development and strategy as a major shareholder alongside the
French state and its German partner Daimler.

shareholders.
