Landstar System, Inc., a non-asset based provider
of integrated supply chain solutions delivering

services, has named JoEllen Reoyo, Sally Ashens
and Mary Lott December Employees of the
Month.
Reoyo works out of the Jacksonville,
Florida, service center as an executive assistant
to field operations. Reoyo was a Landstar
Business Capacity Owner before joining Landstar
as an employee in May of 2001. She was recognized
for her positive attitude, professionalism,
knowledge of the Landstar system and passion for
the company.
Ashens works out of the Rockford, Illinois,
service center as a coordinator in the Truckload
Operations department. She has been with Landstar
since February of 2007. Ashens was nominated for
her work ethic, job knowledge and her outstanding
customer service.
Lott is a carrier liaison in the Carrier
Development department at the Southfield,
Michigan, service center. Lott, who started in
October 1997, was nominated for her ability to
meet challenging deadlines, willingness to assist
others and her pleasant demeanor.
Landstar Chairman, President and CEO Henry
Gerkens commended Reoyo, Ashens and Lott on their
outstanding contributions to Landstar.
"In addition to talent, it takes a strong
work ethic to succeed in business. Our three
Employees of the Month exemplify both talent and
hard work, and are well deserving of this honor,"
said Gerkens.
