Landstar has been named one of Transport Topics 2015 Top 50 Logistics Companies.
Landstar was ranked 36th on Transport Topics' Top 50 Logistics Companies list, an eight spot jump from 2014, when Landstar System was ranked 44th. Landstar also ranked 5th this year on Transport Topics 2015 list of Top Brokerage Firms.
"Landstar's 2015 ranking speaks to the success of our company's unique business model, and the talent and hard work of those within the Landstar system," said Landstar President and CEO, Jim Gattoni. "Congratulations to everyone at Landstar on this recognition of our tremendous 2014!"
Those on the Top 50 Logistics Companies list are ranked on net revenue for the most recent 12-month period (calendar year 2014). Transport Topics published separate lists on the top freight brokerage firms, air and ocean freight forwarders, warehouse operators and dedicated contract carriage service providers in the United States and Canada. Transport Topics published the Top 50 list results in their April 2015 issue.
