We appreciate professional truck drivers all year, but during this year's National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, from September 10-16, we'd like to show our gratitude to Landstar owner-operators by providing a free lunch.
Landstar business capacity owners (BCOs) - our term for independent truck owner-operators - are invited to visit any of Landstar's orientation centers on Monday, September 11, 2017 through Friday, September 15, 2017. The free lunch will be served at noon in each of the following eight Landstar orientation centers: Fort Worth, TX, Jefferson, GA, Indianapolis, IN, St. Augustine, FL*, Lewistown, PA, Sparks, NV, Rockford, IL and Burlington, ON.
Landstar BCOs play an important role in transporting goods safely and on time the whole year through - so we're spending National Truck Driver Appreciation Week paying tribute to the men and women who haul freight safely day in and day out.
Throughout the week we are featuring Landstar's finest on Facebook and Twitter. Follow our pages and stay tuned for some fun posts to share, and prizes to win! Be sure to follow the hashtags #ThankYouBCOs and #NTDAW2017 to be part of the National Truck Driver Appreciation Week conversation.
*Please note, due to Hurricane Irma, the St. Augustine orientation center will be closed Monday September 11 and possibly Tuesday September 12. Please call 800-872-8557 prior to arriving at the St. Augustine orientation center next week.
