LANXESS merges Treasury and Investor Relations

  • Oliver Stratmann will head the new Group Function Treasury & Investor Relations (TIR)
  • Christoph Koch, current Head of the Group Function Treasury, leaves the company

Cologne - As of April 1, 2015 the Group Functions Treasury (TR) and Investor Relations (IR) of specialty chemicals company LANXESS will be merged into the new Group Function Treasury & Investor Relations (TIR). This new Group Function will be headed by Oliver Stratmann who has successfully headed the IR team since 2008. Christoph Koch, since 2008 Head of the Group Function Treasury, will leave LANXESS at his own request on March 31, 2015 in order to pursue a new professional challenge.

With the appointment of Oliver Stratmann we are able to efficiently merge our financial markets activities and communication under the leadership of  a very experienced capital market specialist."

Effective April 1, 2015 the new Group Function TIR will report directly to the Group CFO.

Oliver Stratmann studied business economics in Giessen and London. He started his professional career at Celanese AG, with various positions in Controlling and Investor Relations. In October 2004 he joined the LANXESS IR team and was promoted to Head of IR on October 1, 2008.
