Michael Karg named CEO of Razorfish International

LONDON and PARIS: DigitasLBi and Razorfish announce new, agency-specific international leadership, following the global merger of Digitas and LBi announced in February 2012.

Ewen Sturgeon, formerly CEO of LBi International, will expand his responsibilities as CEO of the merged DigitasLBi International network. Michael Karg, formerly COO International and President EMEA of Razorfish and Digitas, will elevate to CEO of Razorfish International.

London based Sturgeon, (46), will report to DigitasLBi Global CEO Luke Taylor; Paris based Karg, (41), will report to Razorfish Global CEO Bob Lord.

"As our two premium marketing and technology networks-- DigitasLBi and Razorfish--aggressively grow and mature internationally, each brand demands dedicated, accountable, inspiring leadership to advance the agency's unique operational, growth and innovation agenda on behalf of their respective clients," says Lord, who also overseas both global brands under the Digital Technologies Division within Publicis Groupe. "I have worked with Michael for several years and have personally witnessed his courage and aptitude to take on any challenge with grace and accountability. Congratulations to Michael and Ewen."

Taylor adds: "Ewen is a remarkable, adept leader, and in his capable hands, working alongside our global leadership, I am confident that DigitasLBi will continue to flourish."
