Sydney, 2 September 2015: The Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) has again recognised Lendlease-managed Australian Prime Property Fund Commercial (APPF Commercial) as the world's most sustainable real estate fund, outperforming 707 companies and funds. Awards for the Group's other funds included Lend Lease International Towers Sydney Trust named most sustainable development fund globally, Australian Prime Property Fund Retail (APPF Retail) and Asian Retail Investment Fund 1 respectively recognised as regional leaders for private retail in Australia and private retail in Asia. Managing Director of Lendlease's Australian investment management business, Kylie Rampa said the results reaffirmed Lendlease's belief that environmental, social and governance outcomes delivered long-term returns for investors. "Being recognised as the world's best for the second year cements Lendlease's investment management business at the forefront of responsible property investment globally," she said. "GRESB's benchmarking informs institutional investors to help shape investment decisions and improve their portfolios. We are seeing more and more investment in sustainable world-class funds and assets, and we're positioning our funds to maximise that shift. "We're also proud to be part of the Australian dominance in the GRESB ratings. We're part of a sophisticated market outperforming the rest of the world in the delivery and recognition of sustainable outcomes. Participation in the GRESB has steadily increased since its inception. The 2015 data represents over 700 companies and funds, providing information on 61,000 properties, representing more than US$2.3 trillion in global assets under management.
