Lend Lease partners with the Tennessee Titans for the 2nd Annual "Salute to Service" Movie Night
29 May 2015

(Nashville, TN) - On Saturday, May 23, Lend Lease (US) Community Fund and the Tennessee Titans teamed up for the second annual "Salute to Service" Movie Night at LP Field. Ft. Campbell Soldiers and their families came out for a special showing of The Lego Movie, which played on both of the Titans video boards where guests were able to view the movie from the field.
Prior to show time, Soldiers and their families were treated to a special afternoon full of fun. The day consisted of locker room tours, autographs from Tennessee Titans players and cheerleaders, inflatable games and much more. This event provided a truly memorable experience for Soldiers and their families as it is not everyday families get to hangout in an NFL football team stadium, and interact with players.
Four Titan's players including Craig Stevens, Brett Kern, Ropati Pitoitua and Khalid Woten participated in the event. They were also accompanied by five Titan's cheerleaders, Kate, Hannah M., Heather, Jocelyn and Evony.
"It was a great honor for Lend Lease to have military families of Fort Campbell come out for a day of fun at LP Field," said Mike Goodwin, project director for Campbell Crossing. "It is not every day you get to watch a movie from an NFL field, and it was great to see so many of our Fort Campbell Soldiers and families come out and participate. We love the opportunity to support and give back to Soldiers and their families who give so much to protect and serve this great country."
This is not the first time Lend Lease has partnered with the Titans to give back to our Soldiers. Last year, Lend Lease (US) Community Fund partnered with LP Field as a co-sponsor of the annual Titans Veteran's Day "Salute to Service" game. Lend Lease (US) Community Fund focuses its efforts on supporting the military men and women who live in Lend Lease homes and neighborhoods and the communities where Lend Lease employees live and work.
