Madrid, June, the 11th 2013-. GOWEX (GOW-MAB, ALGOW-NYSE Alternext, LGWXY-OTCQX), a global leader company in creating Wireless Smart Cities (Wireless Smart Cities®) and Smart  WiFi in transportation announced the implemantation of its Wireless Smart City project in San Francisco, with 450 WiFi smart zones in the capital.. These zones, that will progressively increase, will be distributed around the main districs and areas of this capital with almost eight millions inhabitants in the metropolitan area.

The second town in the States in quality of life (the first one is Honolulu) , with over 16 millions of visitors every year, is now adding up a new appeal: free WiFi  and smart services  in districts like Union Square, the finantial district, Mission, Twin Peaks or Marina, among others.  Just like in New York, GOWEX will gain profits from this network through the offloading, the advertising platmorf Smart Advertising and the services generated through the Smart City project.
The WiFi data loading speed will reach up to 1 Mb speed for all free users and will enable offloading, i.e. the 3G networks data loading in order to help the providers relieve their networks.

GOWEX is landing in San Francisco after the launch of its Project 'WiFi New York' on March the 5th of the current year, which is already giving excellent results in terms of number of network users and advertising sales. Thanks to the West Coast capital, the potential users of GOWEX in the United States grows exponentially and reaches feagures close to 100 millons of users per year  thanks to the tourists and inhabitants in both capitals.

The New York's WiFi project drived by GOWEX is having significant records, with an average of 20.000 visits per day since its start and a 87% access from mobile devices. On label's devices, Samsung (41,03%) heads NY followed very close by Apple (40,92%), even if the big apple's main device is, with no doubt, the iPhone, with a 26,74% of the total access in New York. Or in other words, 1 of each 4.
The time slot with the highest use of the network goes from 12:00 to 14:00, representing the 20% of the total connections during the day, and the users' percent is, mainly, a 77% male users face to the 23% female.
