Divine Hospice now called Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care of New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, La. - In continuing its commitment to provide quality hospice care to the people of New Orleans and the surrounding region, Divine Hospice has changed its name and is now operating as Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care of New Orleans.

The agency will continue to deliver excellent patient care with the same local staff of highly trained hospice professionals under the direct supervision of patients' physicians. The agency will continue to serve patients from its location at 3727 Canal St., Suites 3 & 4, in New Orleans.

Hospice professionals provide the emotional, spiritual and medical support needed when patients are facing the final stages of life. Hospice services help patients live comfortably, with dignity, when a cure is no longer possible. Hospice care programs can be provided in any place a patient calls home, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care of New Orleans is part of LHC Group, a national provider of post-acute care services.
