LHC Group honors 2016 Servant Leader
of the Year finalists and national winner

National healthcare company bestows its highest honor at annual ceremony

LAFAYETTE, La. - LHC Group, a Lafayette-based national provider of post-acute care services, named Julie Jarnagin, performance improvement manager, as the company's 2016 Servant Leader of the Year. She was selected from a group of 10 finalists - also honored at the ceremony in April - as the national winner.

The Servant Leader of the Year is the highest honor an LHC Group employee can receive. LHC Group is a national healthcare company with 12,000 employees operating more than 400 locations in 26 states.

    Director of Nurses - Guntersville, Ala.

    Administrator - Georgia

  • B.J. Mabery
    Director of Nurses - Nashville, Ark.

  • Raleigh May
    Area Sales Manager - Arkansas

  • Jennifer Norris
    Director of Revenue Systems Administration - Home Office, Lafayette, La.

  • Spencer Thibodeaux
    Regional Operations Director - Southern, Southeastern and Central Louisiana

  • Janet Weaver
    Hospice State Administrator - Tennessee and West Virginia

Jarnagin joined LHC Group as a team leader in 1999 through an acquisition. She has worked in health care since 1980, when she began as a nursing assistant while in nursing school. With 37 years of experience in health care, Jarnagin is a true patient advocate who believes patients should receive the best possible quality care available.

LHC Group presents the Servant Leader of the Year award annually to a leader whose performance demonstrates the company's core values and produces positive results.

Keith Myers, LHC Group chairman and CEO, and Don Stelly, president and COO, presented Jarnagin with the award and congratulated her and her team for their success.
