Acquisition Complements the Company's Initiative to Expand in the Atlanta Region

Atlanta, GA - September 14, 2015 - Liberty Property Trust today announced that it has purchased a total of 38 acres in the northeast Atlanta submarket in Buford, Georgia. Liberty plans to develop a new industrial park on the site called Liberty Business Center at Buford.

"Tenant demand rem ains high across the region and Liberty Business Center at Buford will give us a platform from which to develop high-quality industrial buildings, in an exceptional location near the I-85/I-985 split."

Liberty has begun plans for two rear load multi-tenant buildings totaling 354,828 square feet located at 3525 Gravel Spring Road. The buildings are designed to meet LEEDÒ certification.

Liberty currently owns 16 buildings in Atlanta ranging in size from 29,915 to 278,348 square feet across the Northeast, Northwest, South Atlanta/Airport and 1-20 west submarkets. Upon Liberty Business Center's completion, the company's footprint in the Atlanta market will total more than 2.5 million square feet of space.
