Liberty Property Trust's Chicago Region Leases More Than One Million Square Feet of Space in the Third Quarter

Liberty adds four new tenants to the portfolio

Elk Grove, IL - October 27, 2014 - Liberty Property Trust announced today that it has leased more than one million square feet of space in the Chicago/Milwaukee corridor in the third quarter. The company added four new tenants to the portfolio with leases totaling 519,421 square feet, and retained eight existing tenants with renewals totaling 505,491 square feet.

"This quarter we saw a definite increase in leasing activity, and we are particularly pleased with our large number of renewals ," said Don Schoenheider, vice president and city manager, Liberty Property Trust. "We find this encouraging as we believe that it speaks volumes about our commitment to our tenants and their satisfaction with our buildings."

Schoenheider's team signed agreements totaling 1,024,912 square feet.

New Tenants

- Advertising Resources, Incorporated signed a new lease for 456,479 square feet of space at 456 International Parkway in Minooka.

- Emser Tile, LLC signed a new lease for 26,425 square feet of space at 850-880 Devon Avenue in Bensenville.

- In Batavia, Menlo Logistics, Incorporated signed a new lease for 30,000 square feet at 506-530 Kingsland Drive and Hahn Systems, LLC signed a new lease for 6,517 square feet of space at 1055-1071 Kingsland Drive.

Renewal Agreements

- MSC Industrial Direct Company, Incorporated has renewed for 181,635 square feet at 1575 Hunter Road in Hanover Park.

- Bestway Transport, Incorporated has renewed for 80,360 square feet at 1260-1274 Ellis Street in Bensenville.

- Western Folder Distributing Company has renewed for 78,161 square feet at 1549 West Glenlake Avenue in Itasca.

- Lakeview Appliance Distribution has renewed for 56,264 square feet and O'Hare Paintball Park has renewed for 25,631 square feet at 1071 Thorndale Avenue in Bensenville.

- Trivial Development Corporation has renewed for 38,649 square feet at 1035 Hilltop Drive in Itasca.

- Valley Fire Protection has renewed for 31,200 square feet of space at 101-121 North Raddant Road in Batavia.

- Robert Bosch Tool Corporation has renewed for 13,591 square feet at 901 South Route 53 in Addison.

Liberty Property Trust owns nearly 50 buildings offering approximately 12 million square feet of space in the Chicago/Milwaukee corridor. The properties are concentrated throughout the O'Hare submarket, I-55 Corridor, the Aurora/I-88 submarket and the Minooka/Elwood/I-80 Corridor, Central DuPage County, as well as in Southeastern Wisconsin.
