Liberty Property Trust Grows its New Portfolio in Southern California with the Acquisition of a 522,772 Square Foot LEED Warehouse in Moreno Valley
Inland Empire property rebranded "Liberty Logistics Center"

Malvern, PA - April 22, 2014 - Liberty Property Trust today announced that it has purchased a 522,772 square foot LEED® certified warehouse facility located at 22750 Cactus Avenue in Moreno Valley for $33.6 million. The building, which has been rebranded Liberty Logistics Center, is situated on a 25.96-acre site. Built in 2012, it is currently vacant and available for lease.

"This acquisition follows our recent entrée into the nation's largest industrial market and complements our newly acquired Southern California industrial portfolio," said Mike Hagan, executive vice president and chief investment officer at Liberty. "We continue to experience a high volume of opportunities in the market and continue to look at ways to add value to our investment in the region while offering our tenants industrial property options from coast-to coast."

Liberty Logistics Center is located on 25 acres of land, just off I-215, about 2.5 miles south of I-60. The newly acquired building features a 32-foot minimum clear height; T-8 lighting throughout the facility; ample parking for more than 100 trailers and more than 280 cars; ESFR; secured truck court; skylights and 2000 amps with upgraded power available.

Late last year, Liberty entered the Southern California market with the acquisition of an industrial portfolio totaling 670,798 square feet. In addition to this new Inland Empire acquisition, Liberty now owns six industrial buildings in Garden Grove, Hawthorne, Ontario, San Fernando, and Simi Valley.
