Charlotte, NC - May 26, 2016 - Liberty Property Trust today announced it has recently signed six leases, totaling 315,256 square feet in Charlotte.

'There continues to be high demand for quality industrial product in the Charlotte market,' said Massie Flippin, vice president and city manager for Liberty's Carolinas region.

New leases in the Charlotte portfolio include:

  • National Delivery Systems, Inc. has signed a new lease for 64,000 square feet at Crosspoint Center, located at 3005 Crosspoint Center Lane. Frank Larsen, Steve Lowe and Ed Harris of CBRE represented National Delivery Systems and Bryan Blythe represented Liberty in the transaction.
  • C.H. Briggs Company has signed a new 33,600 square foot lease at Charlotte Distribution Center South. The company will move into its new location, 8910 Pioneer Avenue, in May. Warren Snowdon of Foundry Commercial and Jared Ross of Cushman & Wakefield represented C.H. Briggs Company, and Bryan Blythe represented Liberty in the transaction.
  • Norris Steel Company, Inc. has signed a new 15,885 square foot lease at 5033 Sirona Drive in Shopton Ridge. William Maxwell of Trinity Partners represented Norris Steel Company and Bryan Blythe represented Liberty in the transaction.

Liberty has recently signed three lease renewals (and expansion) in Charlotte, which include:

  • Premier Transportation & Warehousing has renewed its lease for 79,200 square feet and expanded into an additional 56,800 square feet, located at 8916 Pioneer Avenue in Charlotte Distribution Center South. Brad Cherry of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Premier Transportation and Bryan Blythe represented Liberty in the transaction.
  • Landsberg Orora has signed a lease renewal for 49,771 square feet at Perimeter West, located at 4045 Perimeter West Drive. Warren Snowdon of Foundry Commercial represented Landsberg Orora and Bryan Blythe represented Liberty in the transaction.
  • Novitex Enterprise Solutions has signed a lease renewal for 16,000 square feet at Crosspoint Center V, located at 2701 Hutchinson McDonald Road. Bryan Blythe represented Liberty in the transaction.

Across the Carolinas portfolio, Liberty owns more than 8.2 million square feet of industrial space completed or under construction. In North Carolina, the company owns two million square feet in the Piedmont Triad, 1.7 million square feet in Raleigh and 2.9 million square feet in Charlotte. In addition, it owns 1.6 million square feet of space in Greenville, South Carolina.
