Leasing activity strong as company leases 388,400 square feet of space in the region since July

Charlotte, NC - September 6, 2016 - Liberty Property Trust announced that it has executed two new leases in its Greenville, South Carolina portfolio.

'We continue to see strong demand for Class A, strategically located warehouse space in the Greenville-Spartanburg market,' said Bryan Blythe, vice president of leasing and development for Liberty's Carolinas region. 'We are excited to welcome C.H. Mueller and Baier & Michels USA into our portfolio. It has been a pleasure working with both of these companies help solve their real estate needs.'

  • C.H. Mueller Inc. has signed a new 114,400 square foot lease at 130 Caliber Ridge Drive, located at Caliber Ridge Industrial Park in Greer. The company will move into the location in September. John Staunton and Hunter Garrett of NAI Earle Furman represented the tenant, and Brian Young, Elliot Fayssoux and Kacie Jackson of Cushman & Wakefield|Thalhimer represented Liberty in the transaction.
  • Baier & Michels USA Inc. has signed a new lease for 76,800 square feet at 65 Brookfield Oaks Drive, located at Brookfield South Business Park in Mauldin. Elliot Fayssoux of Cushman & Wakefield|Thalhimer represented Baier & Michels USA and Bryan Blythe represented Liberty in the transaction.

Last month Liberty announced its lease with DAA Draexlmaier Automotive of America for 197,200 square feet at Hillside Industrial Park, located at 285 Parkway East in Duncan.

Liberty owns and manages more than 8.2 million square feet of industrial space completed or under construction across the Carolinas portfolio. In North Carolina this includes two million square feet in the Piedmont Triad, 1.7 million square feet in Raleigh and 2.9 million square feet in Charlotte, as well as 1.6 million square feet of space in Greenville, South Carolina.
