LiDCO Group Plc

("LiDCO" or the "Company")

LiDCO Group plc (AIM: LID), the cardiovascular monitoring company, announces that US based NantHealth, a leading provider of healthcare information technology solutions, has successfully completed development of a proprietary communications link between LiDCO monitors and its own DeviceConX (formerly iSirona) system.

NantHealth's DeviceConX is a software solution that collects and transmits data from medical devices into an Electronic Medical Record or Customer Information Systems. The software has been d eveloped in accordance with the FDAs quality system regulation controls. The link will allow NantHealth's customers to access data from LiDCO's proprietary, minimally-invasive hemodynamic monitor via DeviceConX.

The integration of critical care parameters with data derived from the LiDCOrapid and LiDCOplus monitors, will allow a fuller picture of a patient's condition and history to be displayed and accessed via DeviceConX interfaces throughout a hospital.

Connecting LiDCO's monitors with key medical technology infrastructure will improve hospital workflows and productivity, providing another interface from which physicians can access patient data. The technology will be attractive to hospitals looking to streamline operations and improve efficiencies across technology platforms. The link will be available for LiDCOrapid V1.03 and V2.0, and LIDCOplus V4.0.

Dr. Terry O'Brien, Chief Executive Officer of LiDCO, commented: "With technology use rising in hospitals, it becomes increasingly important for different systems and equipment to communicate with each other in order to help make informed decisions about patient care. The communication link for LiDCO's monitors and NantHealth's DeviceConX, will give users another platform from which to access and analyse data, enhancing the utility of LiDCO's monitoring platforms for both our existing and NantHealth's future customers."

Dave Dyell, Senior Vice President of product development at NantHealth, said: "The selection of DeviceConX as the link between LiDCO monitors and other healthcare technologies speaks to the growing adoption of DeviceConX as the connectivity solution of choice. We are excited to work with LiDCO to help its customers obtain the information they need to deliver the right care at the right time at the right place."

About NantHealth (www.nanthealth.com)

NantHealth is a transformational healthcare IT company converging science and technology through a single integrated clinical platform, to provide actionable health information at the point of care, in the time of need, anywhere, anytime.

NantHealth works to transform clinical delivery with actionable clinical intelligence at the moment of decision, enabling clinical discovery through real-time machine learning systems. The company's technology empowers physicians, patients, payers and researchers to transcend the traditional barriers of today's healthcare system. By converging molecular science, computer science and big data technology the NantHealth Clinical Operating System (cOS) platform empowers physicians, patients, and payers to coordinate best care, monitor outcomes and control cost in real time. This is the first operating system of its kind in healthcare that is based on supply chain principles and grid service oriented architecture, that integrates the knowledge base with the delivery system and the payment system, enabling 21st century coordinated care at a lower cost.

About LiDCO Group Plc (www.lidco.com)

LiDCO is a supplier of non-invasive and minimally invasive hemodynamic equipment to hospitals used to monitor the amount of blood flowing around the body and ensure that vital organs are adequately oxygenated. LiDCO's products facilitate the application of hemodynamic optimisation protocols for high risk patients in both critical care units and in the operating theatre.

Increasingly clinical studies are showing that the optimisation of patients' hemodynamic status in high risk patients produces better outcomes and reduced hospital stay.  LiDCO's computer-based technology, developed at St Thomas' Hospital in London, has been shown to significantly reduce morbidity and complications, length of stay and overall costs associated with major surgery.

Key Products:

LiDCOplus : a computer-based platform monitor used in the Intensive Care Unit for real-time continuous display of hemodynamic parameters including cardiac output, oxygen delivery and fluid-volume responsiveness (PPV% and SVV%).

LiDCOrapid : a cardiac output monitor designed specifically for use in the operating theatre for fluid and drug management. The monitor enables anaesthetists to receive accurate and immediate feedback on the patient's fluid and hemodynamic status - a key measure of overall well-being before, during and after surgery.  The LiDCOrapid provides:

·     early and rapid warning of hemodynamic change to aid choice of therapeutic route: fluid or drug

·     quantification of hemodynamic response

·     guidance on effective delivery of fluids to ensure the right amount at the right time

LiDCOview : an easy-to-use graphical display of historical LiDCOplus and LiDCOrapid hemodynamic data.

LiDCO Unity Software: software incorporated into LiDCOrapid v2 that allows the LiDCOrapid monitor to co-display Covidien's level of consciousness parameter ('BISTM')* and add the convenience of CNSystem's continuous non-invasive blood pressure monitoring ('CNAP')**. This will address a growing requirement for non-invasive monitoring solutions that are more comprehensive and can effectively replace multiple single parameter monitors.

* CNAPTM is a trademark of CNSystems Medizintechnik AG.

LiDCO monitors use single-patient disposables (sensors or smartcards) which provide an ongoing revenue stream.

LiDCO Distribution Network :

LiDCO sells directly to hospitals in the UK and USA and through a network of specialty critical care and anaesthesia distributors in the rest of the world.

LiDCO's marketing office is in Cambridge, its manufacturing facility and headquarters are in London and its shares are traded on AIM.
