Lifetime Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: LCUT), a leading global

announced that Michael J. Regan has been nominated for election to the
Company's Board of Directors. The election of Directors will take place
at Lifetime's annual meeting, scheduled for June 13, 2012.
Mr. Regan is a former Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer of
KPMG LLP and was the lead audit partner for many Fortune 500 companies
during his 40-year tenure with KPMG. From 1993 - 1996, he was National
Partner in Charge - Operations for Manufacturing, Retailing and
Distribution. He also served as KPMG's SEC Reviewing Partner for 13
years.
Mr. Regan currently is a Director of DynaVox Inc., a provider of speech
generating devices and symbol-adapted special education software, and of
Scientific Games Corporation, an entertainment and media company.

Mr. Regan joined KPMG in 1962 and was elected to the partnership in
1975. He received a bachelor of business administration degree from
Manhattan College and served for four years in the U.S. Navy. He
previously served on the Boards of Directors of Citadel Broadcasting
Corporation and Allied Security Holdings LLC.
