The photo contest is part of the company’s new “Give Thanks” initiative, an extension of its “Chief Life Officer” advertising campaign. The theme focuses on the true meaning behind Thanksgiving: spending the day with friends and family, which is a time to reflect on the past, look ahead to the future, and say thanks to those who helped get us where we are today.

The “Give Thanks” campaign, created in partnership with lead advertising agency gyro, includes a series of new television, radio and print ads that debuted nationally today and will run through mid-December. Additionally, the company filmed a short video that captures reflections on the holiday and the most important people in their lives. Beyond participating in the photo contest, members of the public can share their own memories and other thoughts by joining the conversation on Twitter @lincolnfingroup using the hashtag #GiveThanks.
