Live Nation Entertainment : Canada Hires Peter Diemer As Vp, Strategic Development

VANCOUVER, BC (September 7, 2016) - Live Nation Canada, a Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:LYV) company, has announced today that Peter Diemer has joined the organization as Vice President, Strategic Development. In this newly created role Diemer will be based out of Vancouver and will help lead the team and focus on building new partnerships and developing creative business opportunities across Canada.

As an entertainment, media, & technology executive with global experience and perspective, Diemer most recently co-Founded Majik Bus Entertainment, a project that has led to a partnership with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to develop music related content from one of the world's largest untapped television and radio archives. Peter is also on the Advisory Board for LoungeBuddy, the award winning Global Travel App, for airport lounge access, which was recently referred to in Conde Nast Traveler as the 'Must Have App For Airport Delays'.

Diemer brings to Live Nation Canada a long-term and excellent track record in promoting, developing, and growing world-class brands. He co-founded Hip Digital Media, a pioneer and ground breaker in on-line media distribution. Hip Digital created highly engaging online marketing programs through the utilization of premium digital content. Through their unique licenses and proprietary content management system, they were able to offer digital content rewards to various Fortune 500 brands, and operate music based loyalty programs for companies like Aeroplan, SCENE and Nectar in the U.K. Peter was the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Yangaroo, and their patented DMDS platform and method is a market leader for digital music business to business delivery. In the past, Diemer has also held senior level executive positions for Capitol-EMI, MCA/Universal Records, where he was instrumental in managing all artist and media relations, radio and television promotional efforts, and governmental affairs.
