Live Nation Entertainment : Ticketmaster Launches Seatwave in Finland and Sweden

Brings industry-leading ticketing resale service to the countries

LONDON, (08 September, 2016) - Ticketmaster, a Live Nation Entertainment company, has today announced the launch of its industry-leading ticket resale marketplace Seatwave in Finland and Sweden.

Seatwave, which was acquired by Ticketmaster in 2014, provides a platform for fans to sell tickets and a safe purchase option for events that might otherwise be sold out. It operates best-in-class, consumer-friendly resale platforms which give fans more access to tickets and a greater level of choice. All tickets come with a fan guarantee, so customers are fully protected in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong with a purchase.

Mark Yovich, President, Ticketmaster International said: 'As the demand for resale tickets grows globally, the launch of Seatwave in Finland and Sweden enables us to provide more fans with the safest and most secure resale platform available.'

This latest expansion will establish Ticketmaster's resale marketplaces in 16 markets including the Ticketmaster Resale platform in Australia, GET ME IN! brand in the United Kingdom, and TM+ and TicketsNow marketplaces in North America.
