Change in the Management Board: Klaus M. Pinter to be the sole member of Lloyd Fonds AG's Management Board

- Supervisory Board and Dr. Torsten Teichert agree to terminate joint activities

- Jens Birkmann appointed Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Hamburg, December 27, 2017. Klaus M. Pinter is to be sole member of Lloyd Fonds AG's Management Board effective January 1, 2018. As announced by investment and asset management company Lloyd Fonds AG, Pinter will assume responsibility in this new role for finance, corporate communications and corporate strategy in addition to his previous duties.

The Supervisory Board of Lloyd Fonds AG has come to an agreement with the previous Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Torsten Teichert, to prematurely terminate his activities on the Management Board effective December 31, 2017.

The Management Board and the Supervisory Board thank Dr. Torsten Teichert for his more than 17 years of committed work for the company. "Dr. Torsten Teichert shaped Lloyd Fonds AG like no other. He navigated the company securely during the crisis years and took AMA Capital Partners on board as a strong strategic partner six years ago. I wish to thank him on behalf of the Supervisory Board and also personally very sincerely for his many years of tireless commitment," says Dr. Stefan Rindfleisch, chairman of the Supervisory Board. "We wish him all the best for the future. The baton is being passed to Klaus Pinter, a proven investment expert. We know and have come to appreciate Klaus Pinter from our favorable joint activities to date and look forward to continued success for the company under his leadership."

New products to be launched in the first quarter of 2018

"Over the last few months, we have been working intensively on our strategic projects for the future," says Klaus M. Pinter. "Looking forward, we will be developing and modernizing Lloyd Fonds on the basis of its core skills in shipping, real estate and logistics. In the new year, we want to launch our open-end real estate fund LLOYD WOHNWERT. As well as this, we are close to finalizing an equity fund that will be investing in transport, infrastructure, logistics and future technologies. Other innovative investment products are in various stages of development."

Jens Birkmann appointed Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board has appointed Jens Birkmann new Deputy Chairman with effect from December 15, 2017. Birkmann is managing director of AMA Capital Partners and joined Lloyd Fonds AG's Supervisory Board in 2011. Dr. Duhnkrack stepped down from his office as Deputy Chairman at the meeting of the Supervisory Board on December 10, 2017. The Supervisory Board expressly thanks Dr. Duhnkrack for his exemplary work and great personnel commitment on the Supervisory Board.
