Group S.p.A. announced that
its subsidiary GTECH Corporation
has signed a four-year contract extension with Camelot UK Lotteries Limited (Camelot) through February 2023 for the continuing provision of lottery technology, related services, and additional lottery products for the operation
of the U.K. National Lottery. GTECH Corporation is a major lottery technology
and services
supplier
to Camelot, and expects to
receive
more than
€200
million in revenue over the four-year extension,
commencing in the first
quarter of 2019. Camelot has been the operator of the U.K. National Lottery since its inception in 1994.

Under the terms of the extension agreement, GTECH will supply Camelot with 8,000 Altura® lottery terminals, which will be used for retailer expansion, bringing the total number of online terminals to more than 36,700 country-wide. In addition to continuing to provide GTECH's Enterprise Series technology, GTECH will continue to provide ongoing services to Camelot including software development, maintenance, and support; field maintenance; and terminal repair services.
