NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 10, 2018)- LP Building Products, the proven leader in high-performance building solutions, has added a new case study to its online product literature portfolio. The case study spotlights Joe Nitti, co-owner of Nitti Development in Elmhurst, Illinois, who used LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding products on the Berteau Development, a neighborhood of 56 single-family homes with traditional, craftsman-style architecture.

Nitti used LP SmartSide siding products because of durability, workability and the style versatility, which he says truly made a difference in designing the homes to be unique, as well as adding to their aesthetic appeal to homebuyers. The workability of the products enabled the ability to implement different types of architecture and levels of elevation on each home, resulting in time and labor savings.

Prior to this project, Nitti used other types of siding materials. 'Making the switch was a really big deal,' Nitti emphasizes in regards to converting to LP SmartSide products. 'I had meetings with different companies, spent a lot of time looking at LP homes.' Ultimately, Nitti found that LP SmartSide siding 'held its own.'

The Berteau Development is expected to be complete by Fall 2018, with all 56 homes built with LP SmartSide Trim & Siding products. Not only are the homes' unique paint colors, architectural styles and elevations a draw for homebuyers looking to appease personal preferences, Nitti has personally tested and proven the durability and strength of the building materials.

Nitti sums up his experience with LP SmartSide products saying he feels confident in the building process and being able to turn around to the homebuyer and say, 'You're good, everything is covered!'
