LUZ SAÚDE New Clinical Trial on Pancreatic Cancer
22-12-17The Clinical Research Centre from Hospital da Luz Learning Health opened patient recruitment for a new first-line clinical trial for the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer. This is a multicentric and international trial and patients will be followed up by a dully certified team from Hospital da Luz Lisboa.
Since 2010, a total of 276 patients participated in about 100 clinical trials performed at Hospital da Luz Lisboa and Hospital Beatriz Ângelo, coordinated by the Clinical Research Centre. The participation in clinical trials is one priority of Grupo Luz Saúde, for it allows access to new treatments not yet available in the market, besides contributing to widen medical knowledge.
