Portuguese Resuscitation Council Provides Training Courses at Hospital da Luz Learning Health

Hospital da Luz Learning Health offered its centre in Lisbon to provide a training course by the Portuguese Resuscitation Council.

Hospital da Luz Learning Health offered its facilities and resources, in Lisbon, for a training course of the Portuguese Resuscitation Council (CPR - Conselho Português de Ressuscitação), on June 17 and 18.

Representative of the European Resuscitation Council, the CPR is a non-profit association of scientific nature, that intends to foster initiatives promoting good practice in reanimation and life support.

The course focused on teaching technical and non-technical competences, and was directed to 24 candidates that had previously concluded an operational course in ALS (Advanced Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ILS (Immediate Life Support), PILS (Pediatric Immediate Life Support), NLS (Neonatal Life Support) or ETC (European Trauma Course), being considered potential resuscitation trainers.

The Portuguese Resuscitation Council expressed to Hospital da Luz Learning Health 'deep appreciation for the provision of space, logistics and pedagogic material, which allowed the successful conclusion of the aforesaid training'.
